About

William White makes contemporary and handcrafted jewelry. He has been designing and making bespoke pieces for over 10 years now while living and working in Cornwall, in the southwest of England.

William makes handcrafted jewelry using traditional techniques with an emphasis on simple and elegant designs. He uses a variety of precious and semi-precious stones set in recycled gold, platinum and silver. While his methods are deeply rooted in ancient crafts that have not changed for hundreds of years, his inspiration often comes from science and technology, man made structures as well as natural forms.

William has had a varied career encompassing Product Design, Interior Design and Engineering – which have all fed into his practice as a jeweler. He studied product design at Glasgow School of Art and went on to co-found an award winning design consultancy ‘One Foot Taller’. From here, he moved on to work for Dyson as Head of Product Innovation. He later retrained in jewelry making at Bath College and is now a full time jeweller.

William loves a design challenge, so if there’s something you’d like him to make especially for you or you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
