My Name is William White and I make contemporary and handcrafted jewelry. I have been designing and making bespoke pieces for over 10 years now while living and working in Cornwall, in the southwest of England.
I make handcrafted jewelry using traditional techniques with an emphasis on simple and elegant designs. I use a variety of precious and semi-precious stones set in recycled gold, platinum and silver. While my methods are deeply rooted in ancient crafts that have not changed for hundreds of years, my inspiration often comes from science and technology as well as natural forms.
I have had a varied career encompassing Product Design, Interior Design and Engineering – which have all fed into my practice as a jeweler. I studied product design at Glasgow School of Art and after graduating , I co-founded an award winning design consultancy ‘One Foot Taller’. From here, I moved on to work for Dyson as Head of Product Innovation. I later retrained in jewelry making at Bath College and am now a full time jeweller.
I love a challenge so if there’s something you’d like me to make especially for you, please let me know and I’ll do my very best to make it for you.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoy looking at my shop. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I’d be really happy to hear from you.
